Interviews and Grant Information

May 12, 2008 by Rosalind Joffe Leave a Comment

Joan Friedlander and I were interviewed on Disability News Radio (you have to scroll down under the May schedule to find the link to the interview) about our book, Women Work and Autoimmune Disease: Keep Working, Girlfriend!

You can click here to read more about our experience being interviewed …

I’ve been affiliated with an amazing organization for a few years now, The Kelly Packowski Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) . This is a small group of people dedicated to raising money and giving it away to individuals with live with MS.

The force behind this Kelly Packowski, who, with her husband, John, decided that although MS has been very difficult for her, she’s a lot luckier than most. The foundation is dedicated to “Making a difference, one life at a time”. You gotta’ love it.

So, here’s the deal: The Foundation awards a limited number of grants per year for individuals to work with me on career coaching issues. Recipients must: live in New England, have MS and want to improve their work situation. There are still two grants left and I’m putting the word out – please pass it along to anyone who might fit the bill. If you or anyone you know is interested, email me (Rosalind@cicoach.com) – and look at the application page on their website (it’s so easy – one page and you just need a doctor’s verification).
