Keep Working Girlfriend — It's a book!

January 6, 2008 by Rosalind Joffe 2 Comments

book-w-text.jpgA few weeks ago, I moved all the posts from my blog, Keep Working Girlfriend: Navigating the workplace with an autoimmune disease, to this new blog, Working With Chronic Illness. Now, why would I bother? Well, we’re going into the publshing phase of  KeepWorkingGirlfriend (the book) and the blog will go back  to it’s original purpose – to talk about and build community concerning the book  that Demos Medical Publishers will publish this spring.

Make sure you check the blog out – and you can read about the book there, too.

My co-author, Joan Frieldander, and I, will be writing about the content of the book .  We’ll describe how we came up with what to write about and what we learned along the way.  Joan is also a coach who lives with a chronic illness – and like me, she knows about this stuff from personal trial and error. We’ll also share our publishing “insights” as we wade through this process.

So for all you early adopters (like me) who like to think that they know a good thing when they see it and don’t have to wait until it makes the NY Times Bestseller,  you can even pre-order (what will they think of next?)

Who knows?  Maybe we’ll be nominated for Seth Godin’s Purple Cow list?   He was the inspiration for my business, cicoach.com.

Congratulations on the book! It sounds fabulous. I have a number of clients that struggle with chronic conditions and I’ll be sure to refer them to your site and book.
    Best of luck!
